about the chef
Chef Erik’s journey from business studies to the culinary world began at Alma, Gualtiero Marchesi’s academy, before honing his craft in some of Milan and Sydney’s finest Italian and Japanese establishments.
Now, at Itō, Erik showcases a unique fusion of modern Japanese izakaya-style delights and a subtle Italian influence, a nod to his heritage.
